Abstract :

Sustainable business practices are crucial for addressing climate change by minimizing envi­ronmental impact and promoting long-term economic viability. This involves adopting strat­egies that reduce emissions, conserve resources, and foster a circular economy. Businesses can also drive innovation in green technologies and advocate for supportive policies.

Biography :

A decade of highly diversified teaching experience at the community college level in the English and Workforce Development Divisions. Highly experienced in teaching composition, reading, critical thinking, debate, and em­bedding entrepreneurial concepts into a liberal arts curriculum. Specialized in teaching writing across genres, with a strong emphasis on research and applied learning. A structuralist when it comes to organizing content in composition classes and workforce development readiness courses. An innovator in contextualized curricu­lum design, with proven expertise in creating classes that meet the needs of diverse populations while align­ing with Student Learning Outcomes. Recent work includes teaching Sustainable Business for Climate Action, where students explore entrepreneurship through the lens of climate solutions, the circular economy, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Adept at delivering engaging instruction in both face-to-face and online environments.
