Bronchitis

Bronchitis is an inflammation of the bronchial tubes, which are the airways that carry air to and from the lungs. It is often caused by viral infections but can also be triggered by bacterial infections, smoking, or exposure to environmental pollutants. The main symptoms of bronchitis include a persistent cough, production of mucus, wheezing, and shortness of breath. In some cases, people may also experience a mild fever and chest discomfort. Treatment focuses on relieving symptoms, which can include rest, fluids, and sometimes medication to reduce inflammation or fight infections. In chronic cases, lifestyle changes such as quitting smoking may be necessary to manage the condition
