Abstract :

Managing diabetes requires accurate glucose monitoring and precise insulin dosing, which raditionally involve invasive methods. This study introduces InsuCal, an innovative non-invasive solution that integrates wearable ECG technology with advanced AI/ML algorithms to grade glucose levels and recommend insulin doses. By utilizing ECG data from wearable, handheld, or standard 12-lead devices, patients can receive personalized insulin guidance without finger pricks or complex calculations.
The system effectively replicates the sliding scale model of short-acting insulin while minimizing patient discomfort and errors. This novel approach has the potential to transform diabetes management, improving patient adherence and clinical outcomes.
