Journal of Nanotechnology and Nanobiotechnology

Atomic Force Microscope

An Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) is a high-resolution scanning probe microscope that provides 3D images of surfaces at the nanometer or atomic scale. Unlike the Scanning Tunneling Microscope (STM), which relies on electrical conductivity, AFM can analyze both conductive and non-conductive materials, making it a versatile tool in nanotechnology, material science, and biological research
